Boundaries of the seaport of Vysotsk and limits of the cargo and passenger permanent multiway Russian state border checkpoint in the seaport amended
Under the Government of Russia Decree dated 07.06.2023 No. 941, boundaries of the seaport of Vysotsk and the limits of the cargo and passenger permanent multiway Russian state border checkpoint in the seaport have been amended.
The adjustments concern the inclusion of a new section of water area No. 8 in the boundaries of the seaport of Vysotsk and the limits of the Russian state border checkpoint in the seaport. This section of the seaport water area is intended for parking gas carriers up to 298 m long, 47 m wide and with a load draught of up to 12.5 m for their further following to the marine shipping terminal for the production, storage and shipment of liquefied natural gas in Dalnaya Bay.
An anchorage specially allocated for gas carriers in the water area of the seaport of Vysotsk will increase navigation safety in this navigation area requiring increased caution.
For reference:
At the end of 2022, the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch in the seaport of Vysotsk provided navigation services using the Vysotsk VTS and pilotage services for 24 vessels (gas carriers) that made ship calls at the seaport.
