Land category of one of the land plots located in the seaport of Ust-Luga changes

By the order of the Government of Russia No. 2465-r dated August 29, 2022, the land category of one of the land plots located in the seaport of Ust-Luga was decided to be changed.

The adjustments refer to the transfer of a land plot with an area of 13.7 hectares of water fund to the category of industrial lands, lands of energy sector, transport, communications, radio broadcasting, television, informatics, lands for providing space activities, lands of defense, security and other social-purpose lands due to changes in the coastline of the Baltic Sea.

The specified plot, located in the seaport of Ust-Luga, was artificially formed by filling the territory with alluvial and imported soil.

Berths No. 3 and No. 4 with a total length of 588.4 m were built on it, as well as industrial buildings and structures, and portal cranes and other loading and unloading equipment was installed. Currently, coal transshipment is carried out at the berths.

In order to ensure the navigation safety for vessels following for loading, a navigation port sign with a height of 8 m has been installed at the end of the joints of berths No. 3 and No. 4 by the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch.
