On July 6-7, 2022, representatives of the North-Western Basin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the IV International scientific and practical conference "Modern technologies of design and construction of hydraulic structures", organized by the International association of foundation builders. The event was held in Kaliningrad with the official support of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

The conference was attended by major customers, experts and specialists of construction companies, general contractors and subcontractors for the construction of hydraulic structures, design and scientific institutes, as well as Russian and foreign manufacturers of specialized equipment, machinery and materials.

During the conference, the participants discussed modern design solutions and designs of hydraulic structures; the use of innovative materials and new technologies, including BIM technologies, in hydraulic engineering; experience in solving problems of engineering protection of hydraulic structures: shore protection, drainage, water supply, dredging and other topical issues of construction and operation of hydraulic structures.

Andrey Moshkov, head of the Kaliningrad department of the North-Western Basin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport”, made a presentation at the conference on the operation of hydraulic structures under the economic management of the branch. In his speech, Andrey Moshkov acquainted the conference participants with the aspects of the branch's activities for the design and construction of port infrastructure in the Kaliningrad seaport, told about the technical condition of the port hydraulic structures, as well as about the immediate tasks to ensure the regulatory condition of the operated hydraulic structures, which include timely execution of current and major repairs, as well as maintenance of design depths.

As part of the conference program, the Kaliningrad department of the North-Western Basin Branch organized a technical excursion to the construction site of the international sea terminal for the reception of cruise and passenger vessels at the Kaliningrad seaport in the Pionersky district of the Kaliningrad region for its guests. Employees of the department told the conference participants about the specifics of the implementation of the project for the construction of a marine terminal, a complex of hydraulic and general port facilities, including the construction of two berths designed to receive passenger vessels.
