The boundaries of the seaport of Ust-Luga changed

By the order of the Government of Russia No. 557-r of March 21, 2022 amendments to the boundaries of the seaport of Ust-Luga were made.

The changes are related to the exclusion from the territory of the seaport of Ust-Luga of a land plot of 107.9 ha, designed for the construction of production facilities of a large complex for the processing of ethane gas and production of liquefied natural gas.

Also by the order of the Government of Russia the areas for the construction of a new marine terminal for the transshipment and storage of mineral fertilizers with an area of 4.13 ha, the design capacity of 12 million tons per year, were included in the boundaries of the seaport.

The North-Western Basin Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport" at the seaport of Ust-Luga uses 29 land plots with a total area of 70.5 ha, which is 5.7 % of the total area of the seaport of Ust-Luga.
