The first sea shipment of cargo by the Marshal Rokossovsky sea ferry was carried out
The sea ferry Marshal Rokossovsky arrived safely at the seaport of Kaliningrad on March 7, 2022, having made its first cargo voyage on the Ust-Luga - Baltiysk (seaport of Kaliningrad) ferry line.
The ferry delivered 31 units of wheeled vehicles and 22 railroad cars with goods for residents of Kaliningrad and the region, as well as products for construction companies.
According to the schedule, it will take the ferry 52 hours to make the passage from the Ust-Luga seaport.
It is expected that the use of the new Marshal Rokossovsky sea ferry on the Ust-Luga - Baltiysk (seaport of Kaliningrad) ferry line will increase the freight turnover on the line by 1.5 times.
The vessel with the cargo set out on the same day on its way back to the Ust-Luga seaport. It is planned that the ferry will carry out 2 trips per week.
