Representatives of the European delegation of the dredging group at China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) led by General Director Wand Peng Yu visited the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch on March 18, 2019.

Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch Sergei Pylin told the guests about key services rendered by the branch at Russian seaports in the east of the Gulf of Finland and the composition of the branch’s fleet, including the dredging fleet. The Chinese colleagues have been presented with the plans on the development of the seaports of Ust-Luga and Vyborg.

For his part, Wang Peng Yu told the management of the branch about key projects implemented by China Communications Construction Company in China and other countries, including in the North-West of Russia.

Summing up the results of the meeting, Wang Peng Yu invited representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch to take part in the dredging summit (WODCON XXII) due to be held in Shanghai on April 22-26.

The participants in the meeting stressed the need to develop further cooperation in order to implement investment projects of mutual interest in Russia’s Baltic Sea Basin.
