Pursuant to Resolution No 583-r of December 11, 2017 issued by Russia’s Federal Agency for Property Management Territorial Division for St Petersburg and Leningrad Region aids to navigation in the Gulf of Bjorkozund have been assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport” on the basis of the right of economic management and by order of FSUE “Rosmorport” placed under the North-Western Basin Branch management.

In particular, the branch has been given a marine light on Dlinnoberezhnyi Island. It is designed for identifying a certain section of the sea or a coastal line and determine a ship’s position within the limits of the marine light’s visibility distance.

Moreover, the North-Western Basin Branch has been given four navigational range markers:
- the Yubileinyi front and rear navigational range markers designed for identifying an axis of South Eastern Fairway No 5 (to the direction 125,6°-305,6°). Its section is located in the middle of the Gulf of Bjorkozund and the northern coast of the Gulf of Finland (Cape Lotsmansky) and it is used to ensure navigation safety on it between the seaports of Vyborg and Primorsk, as well as on vessel moving by transit;
- the Pochetny front and rear navigational range markers designed for identifying an axis of South Eastern Fairway No 5 (to the direction 333,9°-153,9°). Its section is located in the north of the Gulf of Bjorkozund, between Severny Berezovy Island and the northern coast of the Gulf of Finland and it is used to ensure navigation safety on it by vessels between the seaports of Vyborg and Primorsk, as well as on vessel moving by transit.

Previously, the marine lights and navigational range markers were used by the Hydrographic Service of Russia’s Navy.
