On September 3 employees of the North-Western Basin Branch participated in the events, dedicated to the Day of Solidarity in the Fight Against Terrorism.

This day, centered around the tragic events in Beslan (the Republic of Northern Ossetia and Alania), symbolises unity of the state and society in the fight against the horrible phenomenon of terrorism.

The delegation of the North-Western Basin Branch headed by Deputy Director for personnel and administrative issues of the North-Western Basin Branch Aleksandr Strelnikov lay flowers to the Beslan Children Memorial in Saint Petersburg. During the official ceremony attended by numerous residents of the city, representatives of the church of the Dormition of the Mother of God conducted memorial service for the children who perished in 2004.
