On 20 April 2015 Director of the North-Western Basin Branch, Sergey Pylin and Acting President of the State University of Marine and River Fleet under the name of Admiral S.O. Makarov, Nikolay Glebov conducted a work meeting aboard the Mir Salining Traning Ship together with the ship’s crew.

During the meeting a wide range of issues was discussed concerning internship of the students of the State University of Marine and River Fleet under the name of Admiral S.O. Makarov on board of the Mir ship and plans for the usage of the ship in 2015. Besides, the participants of the meeting discussed current issues of preparation for the first voyage of the ship which is planned to start on 28 April 2015.
