The Kaliningrad Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-West Basin Branch on 17-24 May arranged and conducted the Second Open Spartakiada among the employees of the enterprises operating in Kaliningrad Seaport commemorated to the professional holiday – the Marine and River Fleet Employee Day, which is to be celebrated on 6 July 2014.

Teams of six enterprises representing the main stevedore, agent, expeditor and shipping companies of Kaliningrad Seaport competed in seven sports.

The team of the Kaliningrad Department of the North-West Basin Branch did its best in the Spartakiad. In a hard fight the branch’s team took the first prize in kettlebell lifting, the second prizes in swimming, table tennis, shooting and bowling, and the third prize in volleyball. Besides, six members of the Kaliningrad Department’s team took the prizes in the individual competitions in kettlebell lifting, swimming, table tennis and shooting.

At the solemn awards ceremony the winners and prizewinners of the Second Spartakiada in Kalinigrad Seaport received their well-deserved awards, and the participants of the competition thanked the Kaliningrad Department of the North-West Basin Branch for the wonderful arrangement and staging of the competitions.
