On April 10, 2013 the subdepartment of accounting, analysis and taxation of the federal state budget educational establishment "State Institute of Marine and River Fleet under the name of Admiral S.O. Makarov" arranged a meeting of the North-West Basin Branch management with the 2nd and 4th-year students of the economic and finance departments, which plan to engage themselves in a pre-graduational practical training, or to start working by profession at marine transport enterprises.

In the framework of the meeting A.L. Strelnikov, Deputy Director on HR and administrative issues told the students about the major activities of the North-West Basin Branch and its departments in the Russian seaports of the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland. T.V. Gogulina, chief accountant of the branch, spoke on the peculiarities of accounting at the marine transport enterprises on the example of the efficient accounting system created at FSUE "Rosmorport", which is one of the largest enterprises in the port industry with a developed branch structure.  

In the end of the meeting the representatives of the North-West Basin Branch answered the questions of the student's interest.
