In line with federal target program “Russian Transport System Development (2010-2015)” by the order of the Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport dated 04.10.2010 № АД-266-р design documentation on the seaport of Vysotsk berths № 1-4 reconstruction and water area and harbor approaches dredging for coal transshipment complex development was approved.

The design documentation was developed by Marine Construction and Technology Ltd. Company and obtained positive conclusions of FSE “Glavgosexpertiza of Russia”.

Within the limits of the project realization FSUE “Rosmorport” Vyborg-Vysotsk branch reconstructed 681,6 meters of berths, heads of Severniy and Yuzhniy piers, floating and stationary navigation aids, front part of entrance leading mark was constructed also. In November, 2010 dredging works in the water area of the port and on harbor approaches were completed. Total volume of the soil dredged amount to 1.3 million tons. That made the depth marks comply the design documentation requirements.

The construction of a 100 m addition to berth #1 is planned for the next year, which will make the total berth length of the seaport of Vysotsk 786,6 m. The seaport of Vysotsk infrastructure reconstruction is planned to be completed by August, 2011.
