Ice navigation restrictions on the Greater Port Saint-Petersburg approaching fairway announced

By the orders of the first deputy captain for navigation safety of the Greater Port Saint-Petersburg A.F. Glukhov dated 01.12.2010 № 02-КП-170-р and № 02-КП-171-р the following ice navigation restrictions on the Greater Port Saint-Petersburg approaching fairway were announced:
   - from 00:00, the 4th of December, 2010 for towed barges;
   - from 00:00, the 6th of December, 2010 for ships without an ice class, ships with less than 2 000 h.p. power capacity.

The restrictions are set for the purposes of navigation safety in ice conditions in fairways approaching to the seaports in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland due to current ice conditions and forecasts.

Restriction terms can be amended due to changes of the ice conditions.
