On June, 10th, 2010 commissioning of premises of the check point over the border of the Russian Federation within II starting complex (2nd stage) of the Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg located in the western part of the Vasilevsky Island took place.

Availability for service of the new building was checked up by the Interdepartmental commission which included representatives of Ministry of Transport of Russia, Federal Agency for Marine and River Fleet, Federal Agency for the State Border Development, Federal Tariff Service, Frontier Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision and Federal Agency of Supervision in Sphere of Consumers' Rights Protection and Welfare. There were also representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Saint-Petersburg branch and other engaged organizations.

As a result of the Interdepartmental commission work the certificate on conformity of the specified check point to the requirements for check points over the border of the Russian Federation was signed.
