On June, 3rd, 2010 at 18:00 vehicle and passenger ferry “Georg Ots” will open waterway communication between Saint-Petersburg (the Greater port Saint-Petersburg) and Baltiysk, Kaliningrad region (the seaport of Kaliningrad).

Regular voyages of “Georg Ots” ferry on the given line began in 2004. Opening of this line allowed visa-free trips of Russian citizens between Kaliningrad region and Saint-Petersburg. For the time of “Georg Ots” operating on this line, it has been transported 53, 6 thousand passengers and 16,4 thousand vehicles since 2004.
