Design documentation for dry hydrocarbonic gases transshipment complex in the seaport of Ust-Luga was approved

With a view of realization of the subprogram “Marine Transport” of the federal target program “Modernization of the Transport System of Russia (Years 2002 – 2010)”, the design documentation for dry hydrocarbonic gases transshipment complex in the seaport of Ust-Luga presented by FSUE “Rosmorport” was approved by the order of Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport of the Russian Federation from 4.12.2009 г. № AD-256-r.

FSUE “Rosmorport” is client and developer of the construction of water areas and navigation aids financed from federal budget within the limits of program action “Forming of water areas of southern and northern parts of the seaport of Ust-Luga, including operational water area of container terminal, Leningrad Region”.

The design documentation was developed by ZAO “GT Morstroy” and obtained positive conclusion of FSE “Glavgosekspertiza of Russia”.

Within the limits of realization of dry hydrocarbonic gases transshipment complex in the seaport of Ust-Luga construction plan the FSUE “Rosmorport” Ust-Luga branch will carry out dredging works which must be finished in 4th quarter of 2012 in complex water area.

Total cost of dredging works in dry hydrocarbonic gases transshipment complex in the seaport of Ust-Luga water area is 524,7 million rubles. The estimated throughput of the first stage of the complex is 300-400 thousand tons of dry hydrocarbonic gases per year. Maximum planned throughput of the terminal is 1,5 million tons of dry hydrocarbonic gases and 2,5 million tons of light oil per year.
