By the Government of Russia Resolution No. 2371-r dated 02.09.2023, the boundaries of the seaport of Nevelsk water area were amended.

The adjustments concern changes made in the boundaries of sections No. 1-5 of the seaport of Nevelsk water area in order to exclude areas of surface water bodies that are not used for navigation and ensuring the safety of merchant shipping of vessels calling at the berths of the seaport of Nevelsk sea terminals.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch in the seaport of Nevelsk (with the exception of the sea terminals Kurilsk, Yuzhno-Kurilsk, Krabozavodsk, Malokurilsk) provides pilotage services. For 11 months of 2023, the pilots of the Sakhalin Branch had performed more than 4.5 thousand pilotage operations and provided assistance for more than 2.2 thousand vessels that made calls at the seaport of Nevelsk.
