Information on the seaport of Korsakov in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation amended

By the order of Rosmorrechflot No. ZD-209-r of June 9, 2021, the information on the seaport of Korsakov in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation has been amended.

The adjustments are related to the change of the area of the territory and water area of the seaport due to the inclusion of the territories of the seaports of Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinskiy, Moskalvo and Poronaysk into the boundaries of the seaport of Korsakov, as well as the exclusion of the territories occupied by the sea terminals of Ozersk and the Vityaz industrial production complex from the boundaries of the seaport.

The number of berths in the seaport of Korsakov has increased by 2 units due to the inclusion of 6 berths of the Moskalvo sea terminal into the list of seaports and the exclusion of 4 berths of the Ozersk sea terminal due to the impossibility of their use for the intended purpose by design vessels due to high drift and, as a result, decrease in depths at the cordon of berths below the design values. Accordingly, the length of the berths in the seaport has been increased up to 3.2 km, and the indicators of the throughput of the sea terminals, the area of covered and open warehouses in the seaport have been specified.

Due to the inclusion of the berths of the Moskalvo sea terminal within the boundaries of the seaport of Korsakov, the maximum dimensions of vessels that can call at the seaport of Korsakov have been changed. In particular, the maximum length and width of vessels that can call at the seaport of Korsakov when proceeding to the berths of the Moskalvo sea terminal have been increased to 150 m and 40 m, respectively.

Besides, the order clarifies the names of individual sea terminals operators conducting their activity in the seaport of Korsakov, as well as the list of services provided by them.
