Offshore cargo permanent multilateral border checkpoint opened in the seaport of Shartersk

Under the order of Russia’s Transport Ministry No 100 of April 09, 2019, an offshore cargo permanent multilateral border checkpoint has been opened in the seaport of Shartersk. The checkpoint was reconstructed within the territory of the terminal “Shartersk Coal Seaport”, LLC.

Two berth hydraulic structures of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch are within the boundaries of the above-mentioned checkpoint in the seaport of Shakhtersk.

Based on the results of six months of 2019 three million tons of cargoes have been transshipped on these berths within the boundaries of this post that had been leased out to an operator of the sea terminal according to the established procedure. This is 37.3% more compared with the similar period of last year.

All amount of cargoes handled by the operator of the sea terminal on the berths of the Sakhalin Branch has been exported.

The amount of cargoes on the berths of the Sakhalin Branch within this post in the seaport of Shartersk makes up 87% of the total amount of cargo transshipment in the seaport.
