The seaport of Korsakov accepts first cruise liner this year

In the afternoon, July 3, 2018, the Silver Explorer (the flag of the Bahamas Islands) is the first one that has unmoored at Berth No 4 of the Southern Pier in the seaport of Korsakov.

Pilot of the Sakhalin Branch Viktor Denisov provided safe pilotage of the vessel to the seaport of Korsakov and its successful mooring.

A total of 115 foreign tourists from different world countries and about 100 crewmembers arrived at the seaport of Korsakov aboard the liner.

While mooring in the seaport of Korsakov cruise passengers could go sightseeing of the city and see local sights.

Earlier, the Silver Explorer managed by captain Margaret Ettlin visited the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky where pilots of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Petropavlovsk Branch had shown professionalism in piloting the liner.
