Sakhalin Region Minister of Transports and Road Industry Sergei Sadovnikov visited the Sakhalin Branch on July 27, 2017 to meet the Branch's employees.

During the meeting, the Branch's employees had an opportunity to personally ask the minister many questions on the development of the transport infrastructure of the town of Korsakov and prospects for increasing transport accessibility of Sakhalin Island from Russia's mainland.

During the meeting, Sergei Sadovnikov did his best to answer all the questions of the audience. He told the participants in the meeting about the planned activities to improve the road and transport infrastructure of the region's capital and on the implementation of the project for developing and constructing two new cargo and passenger ferries, which will serve on the Kholmsk-Vanino ferry line.
