Pilots of the Sakhalin Branch Start Pilotage Services for Vessels in Severo-Kurilsk Sea Terminal of Nevelsk Seaport

From June 1, 2015 the Sakhalin branch started pilotage services for vessels calling at Severo-Kurilsk sea terminal of Nevelsk Seaport .

Pilotage services are rendered by a Sakhalin branch pilot of 2 category Andrey Pavlov, who has successfully completed probation in the new region of pilotage services at the beginning of the year. The pilot is provided with all the necessary professional equipment to carry out pilotage of vessels during daylight hours from 8:00 to 18:00 (6 pm).

In the period from 1 to 6 June, the Sakhalin Branch pilot carried out pilotage of two vessels: Subaru transport refrigerator of gross tonnage of 1.4 thousand tons, which was carrying frozen fish from North-Kurilsk to Vladivostok, and Guipanis passenger ship, which performed marine transportation of passengers between Severo-Kurilsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
