Information on Shakhtersk Seaport in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation Amended

By order No. AD-75-r of Rosmorrechflot dated March 17, 2015 the information on the seaport of Shakhtersk in the Register of seaports of the Russian Federation has been amended.

Amendments are related to revision of the main technical characteristics of the seaport of Shakhtersk, in particular, the size of the seaport water area, technical characteristics of the individual sea terminals, names and addresses of individual operators of the sea terminal. 

In addition, the data on the maximum size of vessels calling at the seaport of Shakhtersk has been clarified. According to the changes, now only vessels with draught of no more than 15 meters, length up to 200 meters and width of no more than 20 meters can call at the seaport of Shakhtersk

The name and address of the seaport of Shakhtersk administration, functions of which are now performed by the FSBI “Administration of the seaports of Sakhalin, Kurily and Kamchatka” in the seaport of Shakhtersk in the Register of seaports of the Russian Federation have also been updated.

The Sakhalin Branch, being an operator of the sea terminal in the seaport of Shakhtersk, operates 4 berths in the Krasnogorsk sea terminal of the seaport of Shakhtersk. Also the Sakhalin Branch in the seaport of Shakhtersk renders:
- pilotage services;
- towage services;
- services on  lifting and placing vessels on a vessel-lifting complex.
