Order of Rosprirodnadzor No. 709 dated 21.11.2014 has approved a positive state ecological expert conclusion for the project covering the “Entrance piers reconstruction in the South harbor of Holmsk seaport” project documentation.

The expert commission proved that the project documentation materials comply with the requirements of the environmental protection legislation of the Russian Federation and Environmental Protection Guidelines.

After the positive state ecological expert conclusion had been received the project documentation was sent to FAE “Glavgosexpertisa of Russia”, in accordance with established procedure, where it will be examined for compliance with the construction requirements established by the Russian Federation legislation.

The Sakhalin Branch is realizing the“Entrance piers reconstruction in the South harbor of the Holmsk seaport” project in accordance with the federal target program “Transport System of Russia Development (2010 – 2015)” in order to improve the Holmsk seaport waters protection and facilities for working of vessels during adverse hydrometeorological conditions. If the positive conclusion of state ecological expertise is received it is planned to start building and assembly works in 2015 – 2016.
