By the order of Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport of the Russian Federation from May, 31st, 2010 № AD-135-r the seaport of Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinsky was listed in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation, and obtained serial registration number T-8.
