Pacific Venus cruise liner visits Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The Pacific Venus cruise liner moored in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on September 4, 2018.

Pilots of the FSUE “Rosmorport” ensured safe pilotage of the vessel for mooring it at Berth No. 6 and Berth No. 7 of the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The Pacific Venus is the second largest cruise liner registered in Japan. Its length is 183 meters, the breadth is 25 meters and draft is 6.5 meters. The liner has 12 decks, nine of them designed for comfortable accommodation of passengers. A total of 368 tourists from Japan and 204 crewmembers arrived aboard the Pacific Venus.

The visit of the liner lasted for three days. During this period, tourists who arrived on its board went sightseeing in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, got acquainted with the way of life and culture of Kamchatka peoples in the Kainyran ethnocultural complex, visited the Avacha volcano foot and had a boat tour of the Avacha Bay.

The cruise liner left the seaport for the coasts of Japan on September 6 under pilotage of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Petropavlovsk Branch.
