The Petropavlovsk Branch Director Andrey Gashenko took part in the field working meeting on issues of inspection of the maritime station construction progress in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, which was held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on September 14, 2016 chaired by the Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot Nadezhda Zhikhareva.

The meeting was also directly attended by Minister of Transport of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Kayumov, General Director of OAO “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sea Trading Port” Ivan Kapralov, General Director of FPI “Directorate of the State Customer for Marine Transport Development Programs” Alexander Bogdanov, Director of the Vladivostok Branch FSPI “Rosgranstroy” Igor Khrushchev and other officials.

The meeting participants previously visited the construction site, where they got acquainted with the progress of construction and installation works on the project, having noted high speed and good quality of construction.

During the meeting, the participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the upcoming completion of construction and commissioning of the marine station, which is scheduled for the 4th quarter of this year.

The implementation of this federal investment project will not only create comfortable conditions for the residents of the Kamchatka Territory when performing sea passenger transportation, but also will become a powerful incentive for increasing tourism potential and investment attractiveness of the region.
