Information on the seaport of Novorossiysk in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation amended

By Order of Rosmorrechflot No. ZD-372-r dated September 30, 2022, the information on the seaport of Novorossiysk in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation has been amended.

By the amendments, the seaport territory area was adjusted in light of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 154-r dated February 3, 2022, which had changed the boundaries of the seaport of Novorossiysk. In accordance with the decree of the Russian Government, the boundaries of three sites – No. 5, No. 6 and No. 17 – of the seaport territory were adjusted in light of the increase in the area of the marine grain terminal which was caused by the necessity to implement an investment project for its reconstruction, and adjustments were made to the boundaries of the water area of the seaport of Novorossiysk.

Amendments for the seaport of Novorossiysk in the Register also concern the total number of berths in the seaport, which decreased by 3 berths that had been decommissioned as part of the project for the reconstruction of the marine terminal for the transshipment of grain cargo.

Due to the decrease in the number of berths in the seaport of Novorossiysk, the total length of the moorage wall of berths in the seaport has decreased by 210 meters and is currently almost 16.3 km.

The Order of Rosmorrechflot on the seaport has also clarified the indicators of the capacity of cargo terminals, as well as the areas of open warehouses and the volumes of storage tanks for the storage of the corresponding goods of the commodity nomenclature.

The list of operators of marine terminals operating in the seaport of Novorossiysk has also been clarified.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch in the seaport of Novorossiysk has 71 berths, which is 81.6 % of the total number of berths in the seaport. The length of the moorage wall of the enterprise's berths in the seaport is 83.9 % of its total length.

Of the total number of the enterprise’s berths in the seaport of Novorossiysk, 69 units have been leased in accordance with the established procedure to operators of marine terminals, and two berths are used by the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch for its own needs.

For 10 months of 2022, 66.2 million tons of cargo were handled at the berths of FSUE “Rosmorport” in the seaport of Novorossiysk, which makes 55.3 % of the total volume of cargo handling in the seaport. In comparison with the same period of 2021, the volume of cargo transshipment at the enterprise's berths leased by operators of marine terminals increased by 5.2 %.
