Information on the Taman seaport in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation changed

By the order of Rosmorrechflot No. ZD-200/5-r dated 28.06.2022 the information on the seaport of Taman in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation was amended.

The adjustments are related to the change in the length of berths No. 1 and No. 2 of the sea terminal for the transshipment of bulk cargo in the seaport. The increase in the length of the berths by 216 meters was the result of their reconstruction, completed in January 2022. As a result of their reconstruction, the capacity of the sea terminal for transshipment of bulk cargo in the seaport of Taman increased to 35 million tons per year.

Due to the increase in the length of berths No. 1 and No. 2 of the marine terminal, it became possible to moor vessels with a maximum length of up to 300 meters and a width of up to 50 meters to them.

During the reconstruction, dredging works were carried out in the operational water area at the cordon of berths No. 1 and No. 2 of the marine terminal, which allowed increasing the depth to 22.5 meters. Thanks to these works, it became possible to berth cargo vessels with a draft of up to 18.5 meters.
