Pilots and tugs of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Taman Department successfully board the first vessel to a new berth in the seaport of Temryuk

Tugboats Admiral Serebryakov and Admiral Lazarev of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Taman Department of FSUE “Rosmorport” ensured the boarding of the first vessel - tanker VF Tanker-13 (Russian flag) - to the newly built berth No. 1 TMT of the marine terminal for oil products transshipment in the seaport of Temryuk.

Pilotage and mooring of the vessel was successfully performed by Alexander Nevdakh, 2nd category pilot of the pilot service of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Taman Department, under the supervision of Sergey Popov, head of the pilot service of the department.

The vessel took on board more than 6.5 thousand tons of a mixture of heavy aromatic hydrocarbons.

The marine terminal for oil products transshipment in the seaport of Temryuk consisting of two berths was put into operation in October 2021. Vessels with a length of 140.8 meters, a width of 17 meters and a load draught of 4.6 meters can be handled at the berths of the marine terminal. The design capacity of the marine terminal in the first phase of its construction is 2.1 million tons, and with full development in 2025 it will be up to 12 million tons.
