The Temryuk coastal stations of the A1 and A2 GMSSB marine areas successfully passed re-examination

According to the results of the examination by Rosmorrechflot, certificates No. GMDSS 3/1-3223-2021 dated 29.07.2021 and No. GMDSS-3/1-3224-2021 dated 29.07.2021 on the compliance of the Temryuk coastal stations of the A1 and A2 GMSSB marine areas, respectively, with IMO Resolution A.801(19) and the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 23.07.2015 No. 226 were obtained by FSUE "Rosmorport".

The coastal stations were put into operation in 1998, and in 2004 they were transferred to the economic management of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

In the period from 1998 to the present, coastal stations have been successfully inspected 5 times for compliance with the current requirements for the operation of this equipment.

In 2012, the Novorossiysk branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” upgraded the equipment of coastal stations of the A1 and A2 marine areas, associated with the complete replacement of technical and software tools with more modern and fault-tolerant ones, which allowed to minimize the time of transmission of information about distress signals through communication channels and increased the reliability of radio communication between the participants of the search and rescue operation.

The Temryuk coastal station of the A1 GMSSB marine area consists of a communications control center and a VHF transceiver center located next to the Temryuksky lighthouse. The range of the A1 coastal station operating in the VHF band of the marine mobile service is 28.7 nautical miles.

The Temryuk coastal station of the marine area A2 of the GMSSB consists of a communications control center and a transceiver center located next to the Temryuksky lighthouse. The range of the coastal station of the A2 marine area, operating in the PV range of the marine mobile service, is 124 nautical miles.

With the help of the Temryuk coastal stations of the A1, A2 marine areas, the GMSSB is carried out:
- continuous radio watch and radio exchange with vessels in the VHF and PV range of the maritime mobile service in the mode of digital selective calling and radiotelephony;
- operational communication between vessels and the marine rescue coordination center of the FSBI "AMP of the Black Sea" for the organization of search and rescue operations;
- automatic execution of procedures for processing a distress call, urgency and safety using digital selective calling technology with vessels located in the Sea of Azov.
