The issues of implementation of the project "Complex of coastal and marine infrastructure in the seaport of Gelendzhik" were discussed at the working meeting in the seaport of Gelendzhik

On January 18, a working meeting was held in the seaport of Gelendzhik under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot Vladislav Stavitsky on the implementation of the project "Complex of coastal and marine infrastructure in the seaport of Gelendzhik".

The meeting was attended by Andrei Samaryanov, Advisor to the FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director, Anna Fomenko, Director of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport”, and Alexander Kalistratov, Head of the Directorate of the Coastal and Marine Infrastructure Complex in the Seaport of Gelendzhik, representatives of the general contractor JSC "Stroytransgaz" - Andrey Bashentsev, Project Manager and Vladimir Kolbin, General Director of the LLC "Gelendzhik Seaport".

Within the framework of the meeting the issues of the current progress of the facility construction, deadlines for completion of the main facilities construction and commissioning of the facilities were discussed. The participants of the meeting visited the construction site and got acquainted with the construction progress, inspected the implementation of construction and installation works at the facilities.

At present, work has been completed on the construction of the pile foundation with metal fastening of the South Pier, work is underway on the construction of the pile foundation of the Northern Pier, dredging works and the installation of bank protection No. 1 and No. 2.

In November 2020, FSUE "Rosmorport" signed an agreement on cooperation for the implementation of the project "Complex of coastal and marine infrastructure in the seaport of Gelendzhik" with LLC "Seaport Gelendzhik".

The purpose of the agreement is to define the rights and obligations of the parties for the period of the complex construction, as well as the distribution of the facilities of the complex by funding sources.

The complex of coastal and marine infrastructure in the seaport Gelendzhik will include a passenger terminal with a berth for receiving passenger vessels with a draft of up to 5.9 m, a length of up to 142.13 m, and a passenger capacity of up to 940 people, protective and shore-protecting hydraulic structures, a passenger terminal building with a passenger checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation, etc.

The port will become an integral part of the new tourist and recreational zone of the resort town of Gelendzhik. The implementation of the project will increase the tourist attractiveness of Gelendzhik, as well as contribute to the development of sea transport routes of the coastal region.
