Hydraulic structure in the seaport of Anapa transferred to Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch

Pursuant to Resolution No. 414-р of June 05, 2018 taken by Russia’s Federal Agency for Property Management Territorial Administration in Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygeya and under FSUE “Rosmorport” Order No. 285 of June 18, 2018 the hydraulic structure “The Bulk Pier Berth Reconstruction with a Mechanism for Vessel Linfting” in the seaport of Anapa has been assigned to the enterprise on the basis of the right of economic management and placed under economic management of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

This hydraulic structure is an extension of the Bulk Pier berth. In terms of construction the extension of the berth has been made in a form of the ramp with two units 45 meters long. The breadth of each unit is six meters. A ship-raising basin has been created between the units.

The extension of the berth is designed for installing a rail travelling gantry crane. The crane will allow for raising vessels, which enter a ship-raising basin, with the length of no more than 40 meters, the breadth of 12 meters, draft of 3.5 meters, the height of no more than 16 meters and the light mass of not more than 150 tons. Then the crane removes them deep in the berth area for off-season storage.

Mooring of vessels of no more 102 meters in length, 14.6 meters in breadth and 3.5 meters in maximum draft is admitted to the extension of the berth from the eastern outer side for safe moorage.

The berth extension was built and put into operation in 2013. Before it was given to the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch it was part of the treasury of the Russian Federation where the Black Sea Speed Lines, JSC, were earlier assigned to.

Upon completion of the appraisal procedures FSUE “Rosmorport” is planning to lease out the hydraulic structure to concerned operators of the sea terminal subject to the normal due process.
