Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch takes part in a regional business session “Russian Ports and Shipyards: New Points of Economic Growth”

Deputy director for economics and finances of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Yelena Sapko took part in the first regional session of the Sevastopol international maritime business forum “Russian Ports and Shipyards: New Points of Economic Growth” in Novorossiysk on December 4. The session has been held within preparations for the 7th International Maritime Business Forum – SIMBF 2019.

The forum was also attended by heads and representatives of such companies as the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Crimean Seaports”, the United Grain Company JSC, the Novorossiysk Commercial Seaport PJSC, Novorossiysk Customs, FSUE “The Administration of Black Sea Ports” and Russian Railways JSC.

The participants in the session discussed the development of the ports of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, the concept for developing the infrastructure of the Crimean Peninsula till 2030 and issues related to advancements in technologies of customs declaration. During an open dialogue, the participants in the session considered new aspects of the economic growth of the port infrastructure of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, including the ship-repairing and shipbuilding cluster.
