Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Fleet Replenishment

In accordance with FSUE “Rosmorport” Order No. 603 dated 06.12.2016, new Kadosh dredger was transferred to the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

It is the third and last vessel of the line of three dredgers with hull capacity 1,000 cub.m. in the FSUE “Rosmorport” own dredging fleet.

The vessel was constructed on “Krasnoe Soromovo” plant in Nizhny Novgorod under the FSUE “Rosmorport” Order and was launched in October 2016.

Kadosh dredger is equipped with modern high-efficiency dredging equipment and suits not only the climatic conditions of the region, but also meets all the standards of the class of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The vessel will be used for excavation of soil of all categories with the dredge drag head and with the use of clampshell-type device, transportation of the excavated soil to the place of discharge, discharge of soil through bottom doors and from the hull onto the coast through the bow joint to the shore discharge pipe. Also, discharge with “rainbow” method is possible with the discharge distance of about 60 meters.

In the Kadosh dredger there are rooms for accommodation and life activity of twelve crew members.
