Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Eysk Amended

By order No. 81 dated 30.03.2016 of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the approved by Order No. 324 dated 21.08.2012 of the Minister of Transport changes were introduced to the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Eysk.

The amendments are related to the inclusion into the Compulsory regulations of information on approaches to the seaport of Eysk, located in section of the Taganrog Bay, along the recommended route No. 32 line.

Approaches to the seaport of Eysk are intended for increasing navigation safety and control of navigation on these sections of the seaport of Eysk water areas.

Besides, requirements for the number and capacity of tug boats used for ensuring mooring operations on the seaport of Eysk was changed  in the new Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Eysk. In particular, mooring operations with the use of at least two port tug boats are compulsory for vessels with length 100 meters and longer when mooring (unmooring) to berth No. 22, or when mooring vessels, if there is another vessel moored at the berth.

Also, information on organization of vessels navigation in ice in the seaport of Eysk water area and approaches to it was amended in the new Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Eysk.

The Order of the Ministry of Transport came into force on June 6, 2016.
