Replenishment of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Fleet

The Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch purchased Aleksandr Shatalov motor hopper.

The vessel is designed to carry off soil from the dredging site to the disposal site.

Together with Severnaya dredger, Bolgatskaya motor hopper and Priliv multicat, the motor hopper will be included to the earth moving caravan, which will carry out dredging works in the seaports of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin.

With the help of the Aleksandr Shatalov motor hopper and other vessels of the caravan, The Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch plans to carry out dredging works in the water area of the seaport of Temryuk in a volume of 19,4 thousand cubic meters of the disposed soil without involving vessels of other organizations during the navigation period of 2016. It will allow to achieve the required navigation values of depths in operational waters of berths and approaches to them in the seaport of Temryuk.

Aleksandr Shatalov motor hopper was built on December, 1988 at the Romanian Drobeta Turnu-Severin shipyard. The previous vessel's name was Kapitan Korobko, and in 2014 it got a new name – Aleksandr Shatalov.
