On 10 January 2015 in Kavkaz seaport Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Anna Fomenko participated in a meeting devoted to the issues of Kerch ferry crossing functioning chaired by the Minister of Transport of Russia Maksim Sokolov.

During the meeting the results of the work done in 2014 in order to provide twenty-four-hour ferry lines to Crimean Peninsula were summarized, and the goals for 2015 were settled.

Kavkaz seaport infrastructure development was denoted by Maksim Sokolov as one of the primary goals in the present year, aimed on increase of passenger turnover at Kerch ferry crossing.

Also, the participants of the meeting were informed about decision to transfer the function of the ferry crossing single operator to the State Unitary Enterprise of Republic of Crimea “Crimea Seaports”.
