In Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch the first meeting of the Veterans Council of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch was held.

This public advisory body was established in the branch in accordance with the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch Director Order dated 08.08.2013 No. 0342 which approved the Regulation on it.

The Veterans Council of the branch includes former employees of the branch which are currently in retirement and have worked in the maritime transport for at least ten years.

The Veterans Council of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch will promote the training of young employees of the branch in the spirit of patriotism and respect for the hard job of port workers, improve the professional level of the youth of the branch by providing them with a rich experience of life and employment skills, and most importantly, understanding that honest and conscientious labor is the only sure guarantee of stability and prosperity in the future. The members of the Council will be closely involved in issues of social protection of veterans of the branch and in the further development of the veterans' movement.
