The children's literary and art contest, dedicated to the Year of Russian History, started at spring 2012 in accordance with the Mintrans of Russia order. The contest is aimed at spiritual and patriotic education of the younger generation, attraction of attention to the country's history, the identification and support of talented children.

 

The contest was participated by children of the Akhtyrskiy orphanage, which is supported by the Azovo-Chernomorsky basin branch for many years.

On November, 14 the FSUE "Rosmorport" General Director's commendations on the contest participation were presented by the Azovo-Chernomorsky basin branch Acting Director Anna Fomenko. Children were also awarded with book sets, calendars and badges. Books were also passed directly to the Akhtyrskiy orphanage's library.

Anna Fomenko congratulated the orphanage's director Valentina Astafieva and noticed that her inmates never miss any FSUE "Rosmorport" art events.

After the celebration childred left to visit an excursion to the Shirokaya Balka hole, to the Chernomor recreational center. In gratitude to the Azovo-Chernomorsky basin branch, orphanage's inmates will prepare a New Year congratulation for the branch's employees and ready to take guests in Akhtyrskiy settlement to present a New Year performance.
