Gratitude to the Eysk Subdivision of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch

The captain of the Eysk sea port Sergey Grechnin in the letter dated 18.06.2012 №01-04/660 expressed gratitude to the Eysk Subdivision of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch and the Branch in whole for the excellent organization of dredging works in the sea port of Eysk in 2012.

Heavy ice conditions and stormy winds during autumn-winter period 2011-2012 furthered significant snow and ice cover of channels and water area of the Eysk sea port. This created a threat to the navigation safety in the sea port.

Eysk Subdivision of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch with the contribution with the FSU "AMP Eysk" urgently provided neccesary dredging works with the use of two machineries simultaneously. This helped to reduce sharpness of the problem to garantee safety of trade navigation in the sea port and stable activity of the whole Eysk port complex, especially in anticipation of the mass transshipment of grain cargoes in sea port.

More than 173.000 sq.m of dredging works in the sea port of Eysk are planned in 2012. This exceed average annual volumes of dredging almost 60%. As of June, 2012, 70% of planned works are comlpeted, so it's fair to suppose that all planned dredging works will be completed ahead of schedule.

"Hope, that in what follows the joint activity of FSU "Amp Eysk" and Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch will promote timely dredging works to provide accident-free operating, to increase the port attractiveness and to improve the competitiveness of the sea port of Eysk", - noted the Captain of the Eysk sea port in his gratitude letter.
