On January 19, 2023, Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis paid a reference visit to the site area of berth No. 2 under construction in the seaport of Murmansk.

Governor of the Murmansk Region was accompanied by Sergey Mazhirin, Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Murmansk Branch, and Alexey Rykovanov, a representative of the general contracting organization –Executive Director of Murmansky Morskoy Torgovy Port JSC.

Alexey Rykovanov reported to Governor of the Murmansk Region on the progress of construction and installation works and the specifics of the reconstructed facility.

Currently, the overall construction readiness of the facility is estimated at 80 %. The front and anchor row of the reconstructed berth is 95 % completed, anchor ties caps is 80 % completed, and the organization of unloading plates and backfilling is 80 % completed.

All construction and installation work on the reconstruction of the facility are planned to be completed in the second quarter of 2023, and the first cargo vessel is to dock at the berth.
