Russian government expands the borders of the seaport of Dikson
In accordance with the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 3276-r of 09.12.2020, the borders of the seaport of Dikson were expanded in order to create an artificial land plot designed to accommodate capital construction facilities that are part of an oil terminal with a capacity of 25 million tons per year (with the possibility to increase capacity up to 50 million tons per year) and are part of infrastructure of this seaport.
The area of the planned artificial land plot located on the east coast of the Yenisei Bay of the Kara Sea in the North Bay (north-western part of the Taimyr Peninsula) will be more than 6 hectares.
Technical and administrative facilities of the terminal for oil transshipment of the Paiyakhskoe field from pipeline to sea transport for further transportation along the Northern Sea Route will be built there.
The oil terminal and the oil field will be connected by an oil pipeline with a total length of more than 400 km.
The creation of an artificial land plot and the deployment of an oil terminal on it significantly reduces the volume of dredging works due to reaching natural depths.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Murmansk Branch in Dikson seaport renders services in providing transport security of the water area of the Dikson seaport.
In the Dikson seaport, the branch has a specialized vehicle equipped with radio and video surveillance equipment to monitor the seaport water area and the vessels in order to ensure the transport security of the seaport.
In 2020, 192 vessels entering the seaport of Dikson were in the area of responsibility of the transport security units of the Murmansk Branch. Following the results of the year, there were no violations of transport security requirements in the seaport of Dikson.
