Information on the seaport of Murmansk in the Register of Russian Seaports amended

Under Rosmorrechflot Resolution No ZD-93-r of March 19, 2019, the amendments have been made to data on the seaport of Murmansk in the Register of Russian Seaports.

The corrections are linked to specifying the capacity of cargo and passenger terminals in the seaport of Murmansk due to the increase in storage areas and the number of tanks for storing liquid cargoes.

The names of certain operators of sea terminals and a list of services rendered in the seaport of Murmansk have been also specified.

Earlier, pursuant to Rosmorrechflot Resolution No KS-359.1-r of October 16, 2018, the amendments have been made to data on the seaport of Murmansk in the Register of Russian Seaports linked to specifying the number of berths and piers in the seaport of Murmansk. The total number of berths and piers in the seaport of Murmansk increased by 11 pieces. To this end, the total number of the berth wall in the seaport of Murmansk increased by 1.2 kilometers. At present, the length of the berth wall is over 12.7 kilometers.

The Murmansk Branch has 26 berths in the seaport of Murmansk that amounts to 23.4% of the total number of berths in the seaport. The length of the berth wall of berths of the Murmansk Branch is over 4.4 kilometers that amounts to 34.7% of the total number of berths in the seaport.

Following the results of the first quarter of 2019 about 5.8 million tons of cargoes were transshipped on berths of the Murmansk Branch that amounts to 35.7% of the total volume of transshipment in the seaport of Murmansk.

Seventeenth berths of the Murmansk Branch have been rented out to operators of sea terminals according to the established procedure. Seven berths are used by the Murmansk Branch and two berths are rented out to concerned organizations.
