The Nautica cruise liner of 181 meters in length moored at the distance lines pier of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Murmansk Branch in the seaport of Murmansk on July 13, 2019.

The Murmansk Branch pilot’s service provided safe pilotage of the vessel to the pier where the branch’s brigade had professionally moored it at the berth wall.

A total of 600 tourists from different countries and 370 crewmembers had arrived aboard the vessel, which has stayed in the seaport of Murmansk for nine hours. The guests were able to take part in excursions to go sightseeing of Murmansk.

While completing border and customs formalities foreign passengers of the liner were able to ascertain accessibility of the new infrastructure of the Russian border checkpoint’s located at the sea terminal building of the seaport of Murmansk. Based on the results of the reconstruction and re-equipment, which had been completed last year, the checkpoint capacity is now of at least 160 passengers per hour in one direction.

This is the first call of the cruise liner at the seaport of Murmansk this year. During the 2019 navigation, the seaport is planning to receive seven other cruise liners.
