On November 17, with the participation of the Murmansk Branch an international conference “Arctic Nautical Tourism as a Driver for the Development of the Murmansk Region” (the “Made in Arctic” Section) was held at the harbor station building in the seaport of Murmansk. The conference was devoted to the development of nautical tourism potential of the Murmansk Region, including cruise tourism in Murmansk. During the conference, representatives of the regional government and business communities discussed the development of tourism, particularly measures being taken and the results achieved in attracting cruise liners to Murmansk, as well as the efforts aimed at providing this segment of tourism with the necessary infrastructure and conditions.
