In accordance with the permission of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Makhachkala City Administration, the FSUE “Rosmorport” Makhachkala Branch was granted permission dated 18.04.2023 No. 05-40-012-2023 to put into operation the built front leading mark with a sector scanning lantern of the channel of the Sukhogruznaya harbor of the seaport of Makhachkala.

The construction of the front leading mark was carried out by FSUE “Rosmorport” as part of its own capital investment program at the expense of the enterprise.

Construction and installation works were carried out in the period from December 2021 to February 2023. During the work, the existing front leading mark was dismantled, a front leading mark of the ZN SNO-20 type in the form of a metal column with a height of 20 m was installed, and a sector scanning lantern (main and backup) with a remote monitoring system was installed, as well as landscaping was carried out.

The implementation of the construction project of this facility has made it possible to increase the level of safety of navigation in the seaport of Makhachkala, in particular, it improved visibility at night and day hours of the leading line marking the axis of the channel of the Sukhogruznaya harbor of the seaport of Makhachkala.
