On April 10, 2023, the Head of Rosmorrechflot, Zakhary Dzhioev, paid a working visit to the seaport of Makhachkala and the Makhachkala Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

Zakhary Dzhioev together with the the Makhachkala Branch Director Apandi Nurmagomedov, the Management of the FSBI “AMP of the Caspian Sea” and JSC “Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port” visited the facilities of the seaport of Makhachkala and the VTS Center of the Makhachkala Branch of the enterprise.

Following the results of inspection of the port infrastructure facilities, the Head of Rosmorrechflot held a business meeting, during which the master plan for the development of the Makhachkala seaport and issues of its priority development were discussed. The participants of the business meeting got acquainted with the information by the Makhachkala Branch Director, Apandi Nurmagomedov, on the progress of the project of creating the facility complex for anchoring and maintenaning of the auxiliary fleet and navigation equipment in the seaport of Makhachkala, as well as plans for dredging.

Zakhary Dzhioev supported the suggestion of the Makhachkala Branch on the need to purchase a separate dredger for its permanent operation in the seaport of Makhachkala, given the significant annual volumes of ongoing work on repair dredging in order to maintain the navigational depths of the approach canals and the water area of the seaport.
