Pursuant to the recommendation of the Minister of Transport of Russia Vitaly Savelyev, voiced during a videoconference meeting with the regions on the issue of ensuring sustainable logistics of passengers and cargo, an Interdepartmental Working Group (Regional Logistics Headquarters) was formed on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan by Order of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan No. 52-r dated March 18, 2022.

Rizvan Gazimagomedov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, has been appointed head of the working group that will coordinate actions to resolve emerging issues in the field of logistics of cargo and passengers transportation on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan due to the impact of external factors on the activities of transport organizations and enterprises. Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Makhachkala branch Apandi Nurmagomedov has been included in the working group.

As part of the priority activities of the Regional Logistics Headquarters, an off-site workshop was held in the seaport of Makhachkala, during which issues of the master plan for the reconstruction and development of the seaport were discussed.

The event was attended by Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Dagestan Dzhambulat Salavov, Acting General Director of MMTP JSC Alibulat Bigunilaev, General Director of Port-Petrovsk LLC Rustam Kerimov, as well as Deputy Directors of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Makhachkala branch Manolis Fulov and Murad Gadzhimuradov.
