In accordance with Resolution No 148-r of April 18, 2017 taken by the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Director of the Makhachkala Branch Apandi Nurmagomedov has been included in the interdepartmental working group for realizing the Caspian transport logistics complex project.

The interdepartmental working group was set up to ensure more effective interaction with federal executive authorities and local self-government bodies of municipal entities of the Republic of Dagestan during the implementation of the Caspian transport logistics complex project.

The working group included representatives of ministries and agencies of the Republic of Dagestan, heads of city districts and municipal areas of the Republic of Dagestan. The interdepartmental working group is led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan Shamil Isayev.

The Caspian transport logistics complex project is aimed at developing Russian Caspian regions, reducing handling and transportation cost and creating a firm infrastructure basis to expand trade and economic cooperation between Russia and the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia.
